Y’all, the time is short and I wanted to get this out before tomorrow morning, so Imma just start shouting words at you.

Cazimi.

Jupiter Cazimi!!!

You may or may not have heard this word or seen it flitting about your various social media feeds. For me, it didn’t mean much until I began to really study it a couple of years ago. But what is it?

You may have guessed, at this point, that I am talking astrology, and cazimi is an astrological term that means, “In the heart of the sun”.

In other words: It is a perfect conjunction…a perfect joining…a complete merging, of the sun with other planetary bodies.

Tomorrow, that planetary body is Jupiter.

The cazimi goes beyond a normal conjunction. If you’ve followed any of the videos and classes I’ve offered, we talked about the angles planetary bodies make to one another as they travel through the skies, and the conjunction is when the planets are super-close together, usually within a couple of degrees—sometimes as wide as 10 degrees, depending on the planets involved in the merging.

The sun is, well, a star. It’s hot. It’s bright. It blinds anything that gets too close to it, so ancient astrologers considered planets on their approach to the sun as “under the beams.” Kind of lost in that bright, warm light—so much so, their nature is hidden and it’s hard for that planet to fully express itself. When the planet is in that position, it’s called “combust”. It can not see itself clearly through the beams of the sun, and so it can’t be who it is supposed to be with ease. Planets were considered to be lost in the sauce of those sunbeams right up until they reached the exact center of the sun, and that’s where that word comes from.

Doesn’t it just feel like you’re casting a spell when you shout it out with enthusiasm? That’s because you are!

The nature of a conjunction that is so closely aligned to the center of the sun, the cazimi, means the planet becomes one with the sun. Instead of flying blind, the sun amplifies it, fueling it with strength so that the planet expresses its nature like a superpower. The cazimi enhances fortune, connection to the higher realms, spiritual clarity and the opportunity to regenerate and store up power from the warmth of the sun. It is a powerful energetic moment where we find opportunities to grow, expand and manifest with power.

Tomorrow morning, Jupiter’s nature will be super-charged when it merges with the sun. Expansion, abundance, fortune, generosity, wisdom, faith, optimism, justice…THIS is the energy on offer to the collective in a powerful way.

If you follow astrology, you already know that this year has been one for the history books. Major transit upon major transit has shown up in the world in very visible, chaotic ways. Those who were asleep awaken at ever-faster paces; nonsensical wars abound; power-hungry kings at the end of their reign fight to hold onto power by any means necessary, Mama Gaia is defending her very existence and deciding what to do with the plague that humanity has become and the astrological backdrop to all of this has been transits we have never seen in our lifetime and will never see again in ourlifetime. Transits that have historically coincided with times of such great change for humanity that life was never the same again.

Jupiter cazimi is no different. It’s not working in a vacuum; it is happening inside, alongside and in front of a host of other major planetary transits. For right now, I just want to focus on tomorrow, because that’s where we can take some beneficial action to greatly improve our lives.

At 12:17pm Universal Time on July 29, 2026, Jupiter cazimi becomes exact. This translates to 8:17am EDT / 6:17am MDT / 5:17am PDT. It enters the orb of the cazimi at 3:02am UTC (11:02pm EDT on July 28^th), and it exits the orb at 9:33pm UTC (5:33pm EDT on July 29^th). You can take advantage of Jupiter cazimi during this whole time, but the goal is to set your intention beforehand and acknowledge it at the exact moment it reaches the heart of the sun—8:17am EDT on July 29^th.

Because the planet we are talking about is Jupiter, it brings energy similar to a supercharged new moon. This is manifestation energy as well as seed-planting energy. Use it! Whatever intentions you hold, whatever goals you have, wherever you plan to be in the coming months—Jupiter cazimi is going to lend its energy to getting you there. It will expand your intentions, offer a foundation of fortune and luck, and cover you with a blanket of benefic energy. Before you get to this moment, you want to take some time to reflect on your goals for the year. What do you want to manifest? What is your intention for your life? Set it. Write it down. Let it fill your whole heart…and then, when the moment becomes exact in your time zone, offer your intent to the expansive nature of Jupiter while it becomes a super planet for its few moments inside the heart of the sun.

A little more than 2 hours later, at 10:36am EDT / 8:36am MDT / 7:36am PDT on July 29, 2026, the full moon becomes exact. Full moons offer opportunities to release. To let go. To complete a thing with clarity. To end it. It’s a celebration of the cycle you began around 6 months before, when the new moon appeared in the same zodiac sign. Think back to February of this year, when the new moon was in Aquarius on February 17^th. That was a solar eclipse, a powerful portal speeding up world and life events. It was also right around the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at zero degrees aries…the point is, the skies have been busy, this year. And whatever was happening around that new moon in February is wrapping up its cycle right now. You are reaping the rewards of the work you began at that time. Think about it—are you wrapping up a project? Do you feel like you’ve been working really hard for months and you’re just stuck? Do you feel like you’ve been working hard and you have been successful beyond imagination? Do you feel like you’re still in the middle of it all? Whatever was happening around 6 months ago, think about where you are right now. Celebrate it, no matter what, and be grateful for the blessings AND The lessons. And release it. With its tie to Jupiter Cazimi, you have the opportunity to offer gratitude for the successes you’ve experienced and invite in even more. If you don’t feel like you have had huge success, acknowledge the bounty of lessons the universe has delivered to you, learn from them, and then RELEASE THEM IN CELEBRATION. As you release those lessons in gratitude and celebration, call in renewed success on the back of what you have learned trough the abundance and fortune that Jupiter is sure to offer. This is also an amazing time to release blockages—blockages to financial abundance, to health, happiness, stability. Release whatever you carry inside of you that won’t let the blessings reach you and stay with you. Release it all…

If you can’t remember what you were up to six months ago and you don’t have time to figure out how to look up your natal chart to see which house Leo rules, all you need to do is think about where you are right now, what you want to release, and what you want to call in—because the universe will deliver us the opportunity for both, tomorrow, in powerful, grand fashion.

But wait—we’re not done. The Lion’s Gate Portal officially begins on July 29^th, this year. This is the time of the year when the Star Sirius rises high enough to be seen in the early morning skies right before the sun rises. There is a spiritual alignment of sorts, between the sun that gives life to Mama Gaia and keeps us alive, and the spiritual sun (sirius) which was revered in ancient egypt as the harbinger of harvest and fertility, and associated astrologically with wealth, abundance, fortune and fame. The Lion’s gate Portal is open until August 12^th, and peaks on August 8^th.

Here’s the recap for what I want you to do to take advantage of this day tomorrow:

• 1. Tonight, write down all of your intentions and goals for the next year, along with your accomplishments from February of this year to this moment. If you feel like you’ve had blockages instead of accomplishments, write those down along with the one lesson you are most grateful for learning from that blockage. If you can’t think of what that lesson may have been, write a request for clarification of the lesson that you were offered. Ask for the knowledge to come with ease and simplicity. In all things, be grateful. This is the energy of Jupiter cazimi.

2. Write down all that you want to release. Celebrate your successes over the last few months, and release all blockages to your abundance, health, happiness and clarity. Call in divine favor and fortune to stand in the place of what you let go. Ask for inspiration that will help you fuel your purpose to transform the collective for the better. This is the energy of the Full Moon.

3. Set up a simple ritual space, offering whatever your heart calls you to offer. You can offer food, flowers, pieces of nature, crystals, jewelry, water, alcohol…anything, really. Just let it come from your heart AND KEEP IT SIMPLE. If you are able to light up a candle, light one before you go to bed tonight. Always use candle safety and don’t let them burn while you aren’t in the house to supervise them. You can use battery operated candles as well, but the true fire comes from your heart—so if you don’t have candles or don’t feel comfortable leaving a candle burning, offer the fire of your heart in whatever way makes sense to you. Pyrite is an amazing crystal to use with this type of ritual work. Before we called it fool’s gold, Pyrite was called the fire starter—its name literally means “fire”. It’s a stone of abundance, protection and mental clarity. If you have a piece, that can be your fire. You can also let your fire burn in combination with the element of air by writing out whatever represents the fire in your heart and placing those words on your ritual space. This is the energy of the zodiac sign where the Sun and Jupiter offer golden beams of abundance tomorrow: Leo.

4. Whether you complete this setup tonight (the evening of 7/28) or not, at 8:17am EDT on July 29^th, set your alarm to alert you to take a moment and think about your intentions with gratitude and thanks. Just take a minute. If you can take longer, then do. But stop, focus on your intentions, release what no longer serves you, and light up your future with the fire in your heart.

5. Remember that Jupiter Cazimi leaves its orb at 5:33pm EDT on July 29^th, so even if you miss the 8:17am peak…try to take this moment before 5:33pm.

6. Whether you get your setup done during Jupiter cazimi or not, plan to get it set up and keep this work up for a few weeks, because it aligns fully with the energy of the Lions Gate Portal, which peaks on 8/8 and ends on 8/12/2026. Daily, every other day or weekly, renew and refresh your altar space and give thanks for all the things. Let your heart expand with the loyal, confident and generous warmth of the Lion.

7. Ground yourself under the light of the full moon, tonight, the 28th or tomorrow night, the 29th.

July 29^th is truly a day of blessings. Wherever we are in life right now, we can do the work to pull the benefits offered to us from the energy beginning that day, and lasting for a few weeks.
